My Story

My name is Kent Wuthrich and Kostal emerged from my frustration with men’s activewear: I couldn't find clothing and accessories that fit who I am and what I like to do. —So I decided to do something about it.

I have traveled the world as an executive working with a variety of product-focused brands. Packing for each trip was a struggle. What to wear on the flight, at the gym or in the mountains and how to stay warm or keep cool. The world has changed, we all want comfort, style and practicality in the clothes we wear. 

My vision for Kostal is hybrid, athletic-wear for men who love to be active in the gym or outdoors. Men with broad shoulders and muscular quads, men who value comfort equal to style. Men who don't want to be overwhelmed by what to wear and when to wear it.

So with this, I began Kostal - on my own, at home, in my spare time.

Kostal quickly became a passion and a journey that has taught me something new everyday. I'm still adding to the collection and striving to make each item better. Refinement will never end.

I've been a lifelong athlete now in my mid-40s, I still love sports and physical activities like running, MMA, and weight-lifting. 

I've logged miles, met with investors, and gained valuable experience in how to source materials and build a brand from the ground-up. I aim to inject my creativity and design experience into each product I offer.
